Single Page Websites: Three examples of what is possible

For small businesses trying to make their mark online, budgets and time are often tight. That’s where a single-page website can really have a lot of merit in addressing these limitations.

Even though they’re simple, they can pack a punch, often delivering way more than you’d expect for the cost. By putting all your key info onto one easy-to-scroll page, you get a site that’s user-friendly, loads quickly, and gets straight to the point. Perfect for businesses wanting to make a strong impression without getting bogged down in complicated layouts.

We’re going to take a look at three examples form the Personify client base that have really delivered for their owners, showing that they’re a smart investment and can address all requirements for a strong online presence.

What is a Single Page Website?

A single page website, as the name suggests, is a website that fits all its content on one long, scrollable page. Instead of navigating through multiple pages, visitors simply scroll down to access different sections of the site. This design approach offers a seamless, story-like experience that guides users through your content in a logical flow.

Client 1: Tearles Electrical

Paul already had an established base of commercial clients that he worked for, but still felt that it was critical to have a professional-looking “front of house” website that he could refer new clients to, or to allow existing clients quick access to his contact details.

We suggested that a simple single-page website would meet his requirements at this point in time, and this can always be expanded upon relatively easily in the future should the need arise. We have constructed similar websites for other trades including Cape to Cape Electrical, and in a regional area, single page sites can perform well in organic search engine rankings vs larger, multiple page sites.

As of the 6th February 2025, Tearles Electrical and Cape to Cape Electrical held the 1st and 2nd rankings respectively, for “Electrician Busselton”. View screenshot of the search results here.

Client 2: South West Hydraulics

South West Hydraulics was the second website that we have developed for Mark Box, also director of Mako Services.

After considering the budget for the project and the brief from Mark we suggested that a single-page website would meet their requirements, budget and be able to communicate their services, capabilities and operating regions on a single page layout which would facilitate the ease of use for mobile and desktop site visitors alike. We added a secondary contact page as an add-on to the landing page in order to shed some size from the main page.

The results is a striking website that is aided by relevant and strong stock imagery to support the content and everything the South West Hydraulics offers. We were very pleased with the outcome, and the project was completed with minimal amendment prior to launching. We are proud to now look after two websites on behalf of the Box family enterprise, and look forward to continuing with assisting them into the future.

Client 3: Cape to Cape Electrical

The third example of a single-page site that we have developed is Cape to Cape Electrical.

This particular website was first designed and developed in 2016 and is still of exceptional service to electrician, Dave Broere, whose initial investment to have the website developed has certainly paid off.

When first published online, Cape to Cape Electrical was listed on the 1st page of Google for “Electrician Busselton” and “Electrician Dunsborough” outranking most of the larger, long-established competitor sites. This was a fantastic result for a single page site and attests to the SEO work that we undertake for our clients. In site SEO is aided by the high quality hosting options that we offer, delivering fast loading sites and improved customer user experience.

…In Conclusion

As these three examples show, single-page websites can really punch above their weight. Their simplicity makes them powerful tools.

By focusing on a good user experience, making sure they work well on phones, and keeping the message clear, these websites have helped these three businesses grow. You can see how they’ve effectively showcased services, products, and expertise, leading to more leads, sales, and better brand recognition.

If you’re a small business thinking about investing in a website, a single-page site is definitely worth considering. It’s cost-effective, high-impact, and can really deliver a great return on your investment.
